Expo and web site showcases flexible, holiday and work from home  jobs and employers that are hiring, in one event

Hackensack, NJ – August 2011 —For those looking for additional income, NJ area company is offering residents in NYC and Philly an alternative to the traditional 9-5 job.  JobProsper offers a national flexible and work-from-home employment expo that will be coming to New York City at the Metropolitan Pavilion, Sunday, October 2, 2011 and Philadelphia at Lincoln Financial Field, Sunday, October 23rd both from 11 am to 4 pm.

JobProsper was created by new mom and New York City native Noelle Frieson.  In 2009 Noelle was laid off due to the recession.  While trying to start a family she began looking for ways to spend more time at home and less time in an office.  It was almost impossible to find legitimate flexible or work from home employment. “There were so many scams being advertised and the whole search was confusing. I wanted to give stay at home mothers, retirees, students or people who simply needed a boost to their income in this economy a place to find legitimate flexible and work from home employment” explains Noelle, founder and CEO of JobProsper.

Having successfully produced the event in Northern and Central New Jersey, The Philadelphia Area (last April – over 6000 attendees!) and the Washington DC Metro Area the October events in NYC and Philly will focus on the plethora of opportunities that are available during the holiday season.  JobProsper has teamed up with the local Metro Newspapers which will make these two events the largest job fairs of its kind to date.  Nearly 100 vendors will be represented at the show, ranging from holiday hiring managers for retail chains to service based companies to product manufacturers.

With the event and web site (www.jobprosper.com), JobProsper centralizes flexible job openings and ensures that the opportunities are legitimate. All of the nearly 100 employers at the JobProsper Expo are thoroughly researched and vetted.

“Though jobs are hard to come by; we’re seeing a spike in part-time and work-from-home employment and there are several different factors at play; the economy, technology and a changing work environment,” said Mrs. Frieson “The unemployment rate rose to 9.2 percent.  Just 18,000 net jobs were created in June 2011, the fewest in nine months. And it now takes the average individual 33 weeks to find a new job, up from 23 weeks a year ago. JobProsper is a quick entry point into a new job market with new job opportunities, all of which have been pre-screened.”

Attending the event is easy; no cost pre-registration and weekend hours. Attendees will get direct face time with employers and all registrants will get a copy of Noelle’s e-book “Making Work from Home Work for You”.
